Inspired by the Willie Nelson 4th of July picnics hosted at Billy Bob’s Texas, the “Willie Wall” has been a staple at Billy Bob’s for the last decade.
Featured on the wall are photos of artists and fans from the Willie’s Picnics of the past.

Willie Nelson’s 4th of July Picnic 2014
Willie Nelson has been a friend of Billy Bob’s since the very beginning, playing 57 shows to date at The World’s Largest Honky Tonk. His first show took place on April 5, 1981 just 4 days after Billy Bob’s opened. Willie has been back regularly since then, hosting 7 of his annual Fourth of July picnics here and performing at Billy Bob’s Grand Re-Opening in 1989. He recorded a “Live at Billy Bob’s Texas” album in 2003. One of his fondest memories is riding a horse into the showroom. Now THAT’S how it’s done, y’all.
