Lone Star Murder Mystery Dinner and Show
Introducing the newest Lone Star Murder Mystery
”MISSED FORTUNE”
Synopsis
Greedy Granbury Green, the town’s big shot banker, has been bumped off and Marshal Jim Courtright may need a crystal ball to figure out who done it. Could it be Dusty Muddwater, the fastidiously clean and directionally challenged prospector with gold in his future? Or Tatyana, the self-proclaimed Queen of the Gypsies, who read more than Mr. Green’s palms. Then there’s Clarice Green, wife of the dearly departed, who may have taken her horse training skills a bit too far. Or maybe Mortimer Morton, the local undertaker, had an extra casket to fill. All predictions indicate chaos and laughter in the immediate future as you help the Marshal read the signs and solve the crime.
Cast of Characters
Marshal Jim Courtright: Jim is a man’s man, a straight arrow trying his best to maintain law and order in a rowdy frontier town. Intelligent, street-wise and a keen observer of people, he doesn’t give in to superstition and won’t suffer fools or fortunetellers.
Dusty Muddwater: The most fastidiously clean prospector you’ll ever meet west of the Mississippi; Dusty has – unfortunately – suffered through a long string of filthy jobs. Thanks to some good advice however, his luck is about to change but only if he can hit gold before Granbury Green calls in his loan.
Tatyana “Queen of the Gypsies”: An eccentric woman and less-than-accurate psychic who clearly ain’t from around here, Tatyana seems to know all about certain key individuals and it’s doubtful she got that information from reading her crystal ball.
Clarice Green: The not-so-contented wife of Granbury Green, the wealthiest man in town. Although elegant in demeanor, she can be a demanding lover. She likes her men like she likes her horses – well trained.
Mortimer Morton: The second wealthiest man in town, Mortimer is the quiet type, except when attempting to woo the one true love of his life. Unfortunately she married someone else. But that hasn’t kept him from thinking about her – and her husband – all these years.
