Son casi 15 años de trayectoria de SIGGNO, una agrupación cuya juventud y frescura continúan vigentes hasta el día de hoy. Integrado por la original unión de talentosos músicos originarios de diferentes regiones de Texas y Florida, SIGGNO se caracteriza por ser un grupo musical que derrocha originalidad tanto en su propuesta musical, como en su imagen.
Su primera producción, titulada “Al Principio” se posicionó rápidamente en el gusto del público a lo largo y ancho de Texas, y les abrió las puertas de la industria musical. En el año 2002, SIGGNO graba su segundo álbum, “Por amor”, y se convierte en un parte-aguas en la carrera de esta joven banda, ya que les hace acreedores al mayor reconocimiento que cualquier músico pudiera desear en la Unión Americana: su nominación al prestigioso Premio Grammy.
En el 2004 Freddie Records se convierte en su casa disquera y el incorporarse al elenco artístico de este sello les abre las puertas de la internacionalización; miles de seguidores de la música norteña y texana acogieron a SIGGNO y su original propuesta musical. Renombrados grupos y artistas invitan a SIGGNO a compartir escenario en exitosas giras, lo que les permitió llevar su música a masivas audiencias.
“Capítulo 5” es el álbum que lanza SIGGNO en el 2007 y el cual fue honrado por la Academia de grabación con su segunda nominación al Grammy en la categoría de ‘Mejor Álbum Norteño’; al año siguiente, en el 2008, la joven agrupación recibe con orgullo la ambicionada presea otorgada por la Academia de Grabación: el Grammy como Mejor Álbum Norteño del 2008.
La creatividad y pasión por la música de cada uno de los integrantes de SIGGNO, lo convierten en un grupo que llegó para quedarse en la preferencia del público, prueba de ello es su activa agenda de presentaciones por todo Estados unidos, contando con el invaluable apoyo de los programas de radio y televisión que cubren y siguen sus eventos.
