Texas Country Music Association officially kicked off in 2011 and has grown tremendously over the years, but it was a dream and vision I had from the early 90’s when I got into the industry — to create an organization that would help get all the great Texas Country Music out there for the world to hear. The Texas Country Music Awards was always a part of the plan, and we held our first awards in 2017. The purpose of TCMA is to promote and support the artists, musicians, songwriters, venues, media and businesses that touch the Country music industry in Texas. We wanted to highlight the great music and all involved that comes out of our great state. The Texas Country Music Awards takes all year and a lot of help from sponsors, ambassadors and volunteers to organize. We’re very blessed to be able to share it at Billy Bob’s this year. TCMA is always creating resources and solutions for those involved in the industry. Some of those are TexasCountryMusicRadio.org online radio station, our digitally monitored Texas Country Music Chart, Texas Country Music Television online and we are preparing to launch the Texas Country Network and ROKU Channel which will broadcast music videos, programs and content focusing on the Texas Country Music industry and the Country lifestyle.
