Josh Abbott Band returns to Billy Bob’s, the world’s largest honky tonk, to ring in the New Year with back-to-back shows beginning January 1, 2016. The Texas country torchbearers share the bill with Eli Young Band to perform an acoustic set on New Year’s Day and perform a stand-alone set January 2.
Looking to repeat last New Year’s sold out back-to-back shows at their 6,000 seat home state venue, JAB will be performing new music from ‘Front Row Seat’ (out Nov. 6 via Thirty Tigers) an album that “goes out on a limb in a way country hasn’t in years” (Rolling Stone) and has earned early praise as their “best yet” (Wide Open Country). The band just wrapped “Where’s The Party” tour, their biggest and best selling tour yet, sharing stages with Lee Brice, Sara Evans and more.
Frontman Josh said of the opportunity to return to Billy Bob’s and perform with Eli Young Band:
“The energy at Billy Bob’s is just unbelievable, and we can’t wait to celebrate another New Year there with our friends the Eli Young Band.”
