Bret Michaels – It’s always great to have this rockstar back her at Billy Bob’s Texas. Whenever he’s here he always brings an original style and flair that never ceases to amaze. And just as big as the party he brings, are the people that come to see him. We had Vinnie Paul and the guys from Hell Yeah hanging out with us for the night, which is always a good time. Brett rocked the stage for a 90 minute show, leaving the crowd electrified.
Jerrod Niemann helped us celebrate our 35th Birthday here at the world’s largest honky tonk on April 1st. After having a 20 person meet and greet before the show, Jerrod stuck around and had a few adult beverages to celebrate Billy Bob’s Texas birthday before taking the stage. Cheers Jerrod!
Corb Lund– these boys from way north of the border came down here for their first appearance on the honky tonk stage, kicking off the Thursday night series. Being from Canada, the heat down here may have been new to them, but putting on a great show was all too familiar. This may have been their first visit, but I have a feeling it won’t be their last.
LeAnn Rimes– having this young lady here was an absolute delight. She definitely made herself at home for the day which always makes for a good day. She was so down to earth and fun to be around that you almost forget that she’s been at this for 20 years.
Tanya Tucker– there’s nothing like having Tanya back here at Billy Bob’s. It’s always like having a family reunion. From the very beginning of the day it’s just like having friends back. It’s always amazing to see how close they all are with her son helping keep things organized throughout the day, to her daughter joining her up on the mainstage. She even made her way over to the Tuff Hedeman’s rodeo event to sing the national anthem before she played the mainstage for 90 minutes.
Parker McCollum– Parker joined us for his second time on the honky tonk stage for his second Thursday night series performance. As always these guys brought a lot of energy to the stage, really bringing the crowd to life. The guys felt like brand new men after getting some brand new boots from the Justin Boot girls.
The Cadillac 3 — rolled in early on Friday, April 15th and everyone visited the historic FW Stockyards throughout the day. After the show that night, TC3 signed the historic wall backstage; Welcome to the family fellas!
Pesado– our friends from Pesado drove all the way from Monterrey, Mexico to come bring something different to the mainstage. After the show they did an open meet and greet with pictures for as long as they could, and it seemed like the whole crowd came over to see them.
Easton Corbin– it’s always a pleasure to hang out with these guys backstage. Easton even took over the Billy Bob’s Snapchat for the day. All of them made time to get out and check out the stockyards. He was so dedicated to meeting as many of his fans possible that he had a meet and greet before and after the show where he spent some personalized time with each and every person that came through. Then played an amazing set of 115 minutes, which according to him was the longest show they’ve ever played.
